I spend an unreasonable amount of time taking hardware that probably should have been left alone and figuring out what else it can do.

Garage Sidequests is where I document those projects: homelabs, networking, electronics, automation, hardware reuse, 3D printing, and whatever technical rabbit hole looks interesting next.

There is no clean-room lab here.

It’s a working garage, a couple of 3D printers, a pile of hardware, and usually more than one project happening at the same time.

Sometimes things work. Sometimes they break. Usually another side quest starts somewhere in between.
