Objective
Explore what retired Meraki MR53 access points can do with community OpenWrt support.
Current Status
Three MR53 access points are currently running OpenWrt in a real home production environment. This uses community support rather than official mainline MR53 support. Garage Sidequests did not author the MR53 OpenWrt port.

- Long-term stability and radio behavior
- Firmware issues and hardware capabilities
- Repeatable flashing
- Eventually, performance characterization
